The Dahl Ranch is a fifth generation working cattle ranch established in 1914. We are located in the far northwest corner of South Dakota, about 25 miles north of the small town of Camp Crook. You will enjoy incredible views of badlands, rolling hills, sagebrush flats, grass lands, the Little Missouri River and the Box Elder Creek. You will also see an abundance of all kinds of wildlife during your hunt.
The Dahl Ranch is truly blessed with incredible genetics in both mule deer and whitetail. I have been managing our deer herd for years the same way we manage our cattle. “Culling the herd” and taking a limited number of mature bucks for each species every year has allowed our deer populations to be abundant, healthy and passing the best bloodlines on for future trophies. We see amazing bucks every year because of these practices.
