The weather can go from one extreme the other in a matter of hours. Clothes that allow you to dress in layers are very important. Chilly mornings and sunny afternoons will have you adding and shedding clothes throughout the day to stay comfortable. More times than not the wind will blow and it can have a bite to it. Head gear that covers your ears is highly recommended. Warm and light coats, gloves, boots, socks and base clothing is necessary for the hunt. Other gear needed includes your weapon, binoculars, knife, rain gear and hunters orange.
At any time during your hunt, if an animal is wounded and blood is drawn, that is your animal. Your remaining time may be spent trying to locate that animal, but you will not be allowed to harvest another animal to replace the one that was wounded. This is at the discretion of the guide and/or outfitter. We always try to get our clients into the range that they feel comfortable with, but we all know that these things can happen to any of us. Thank you for your understanding.
Local taxidermy and processing are available at your cost. We can also skin your trophy out and cut the meat off for you to put in coolers for you to take home.
